Hero; the Real Hero!
I’ve wondered and pondered who you were;
Asked and tasked my soul what to christen you,
I’ve thought and ought to have known,
That your name was Hero; the Real Hero!
Decked in a suit of soot,
Drafting smoke, when not trying to smoke,
Enduring heat, yet scoring a hit,
Saving souls, spirits, and bodies,
Noble, the valor, people hailed you!
How much you weighed, you asked?
As much as the Statue of Liberty in America,
The Pyramids in Egypt,
Parthenon in Greece,
Eiffel in France,
Coliseum in Rome,
Taj Mahal in India;
That much you weighed, the people’s Real Hero!
